ABOUT US
We are long time dog lovers and have always had them in our home. Finding a quality, truly pet friendly holiday house is difficult, but we've made it easier by opening our home to you.
Our home is located in Corlette, 5 minutes drive from dog friendly Bagnall's Beach. Our dogs love it and so will yours! In addition to that, there are plenty of lovely walking tracks.
Please make sure your dogs are fully up to date with their tick treatments as this is a tick area. Be vigilant.
Our home sleeps up to 7 people
SLEEP
Main Bedroom : Queen size bed with ensuite and a very spacious walk-in wardrobe. Balcony with filtered water views. A large flat screen TV with with Foxtel, Paramount, Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime apps, so you can access your own home account. Linen and towels provided.
Second Bedroom : Double bed, large built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan and a view of our growing side garden. Linen and towels provided.

Third Bedroom : King single bed with a single sized trundle bed, built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, balcony with filtered water views. Linen and towels provided.
Poppy & Peggy's Book Nook : Comfy day-bed for relaxing reading is also a standard size single bed. Linen and towels provided.
MAIN BATHROOM
Main Bathroom : The main bathroom has a shower / bath with a separate toilet and separate vanity.

LIVING AREAS
Living Area + Kitchen : A spacious open plan area with living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A large flat screen TV with with Foxtel, Paramount, Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime apps, so you can access your own home account. There is a vast collection of DVD / Blu-Rays of everything from action / adventure to kids viewing and many books to read on the front verandah or back deck. There is also a wide selection of board games for those competitive family nights! We also have a reverse cycle remote-controlled air conditioner and an additional two ceiling fans in this open space.
Laundry : There is a hidden, compact European laundry in the hallway with a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board as well as a vacuum cleaner plus other cleaning items.
The downstairs Ruby's Retreat has a comfortable sofa. This room has its own toilet, a large flat screen TV with Foxtel, Paramount, Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime apps, so you can access your own home account plus a Wii console and games.
FRONT BALCONY
Front Balcony : A lovely spot to have your morning cuppa and look at the filtered water views. Or watch the stunning sunsets with a relaxing beverage of your choice! Beautiful bushland and hills opposite, that will be so relaxing while you read the paper or a good book.
OUTDOOR
Back Deck + Yard : A large deck out the back sets the scene for many warm family gatherings with your dog as well! A modern outdoor dining table for eight and an electric BBQ for those perfect sizzling meals. Our grass is soft buffalo and privacy is ensured by our growing bamboo screening and a wall of solar lights that add that extra bit of cosiness in the evenings. The back yard is a small courtyard style and best suited for small or medium sized dogs. However, leash free Bagnall's Beach is a 5 minute drive away and there are many walking paths in the neighbourhood.
FOR THE DOGS!
FIrst of all, your dog/s are welcome inside and use their own bedding, which you need to bring with you. Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture - that's for the humans! These are the same rules we have for our own dogs, we ask our guests to do the same. Thank you
Inside the house is a toy tub for your furry family. Outside there is a pet-only paddle pool for the hot days and a bag of outside and beach toys in the garage.
Dogs in Nelson Bay
The Nelson Bay area is a very dog friendly holiday destination. There are plenty of dog friendly parks and areas to take your dog including leash-free Bagnalls Beach a short drive from our home.
